Blog 10: Evaluation of your blogging experience.

Hi classmates,

This is the last blog that we write for ourselves and i think that this is very sad L

Personally, I think that blogs are not the best way to learn english,

because you can easily open the Google Translator and write from there

(obviously we did not, right classmates haha?)

But it has been a good technique to know some words I didn’t know

and little things each other classmates,

his musical tastes, his pets, his favorite food, among other things…

About my writing skills, I honestly believe that they didn’t evolve much,

but I learned the structures of the tenses when english is spoken and I think that is enough.

Now I have to put them into practice

In the class, I would add more written activities,

where the grammar of the sentences is reviewed

(if the time is correct and they know how to apply them)

By last, I would add activities such as reading aloud in english to correct pronunciation.

In the future, about blogs, I would like to include a free theme to write on the blog

or maybe write about some strange dream or the best day of our lives,

the best concert they have attended and an anecdote,

I don’t know, there are so many things that we can tell in blogs.

Blog 8: A subject I enjoy studying this semester.

Hi everyone! 

Well, at the beginning of this semester

I hated all the subjects as usual and the teachers did not like me either good or bad,

they were only subjects that I had to approve.

But recently the subject called ''Social History of Chile'' began to call my attention.

As the name says, the subject talks about the social history of Chile.

The class is a cathedra where basically the teacher speaks

 and we, the students, are shocked with everything he says, 

because it is not a story centered on political and state changes, 

(how teach you in the school), 

this history giving importance to the development of social subjects 

in the different existing realities: from pawn to peasant and from peasant to laborer,

field-city migration, resistance to proletarianization, 

the popular movement, movement of “settlers”: 

the pressures that they put on the state to get their homes 

or land to build their own homes, the resistance to the military dictatorship, among others.

So many things that people did to be what we are today!

Why do I like this subject?

because it shows us how we are configuring ourselves through history, 

I may have been born 18 years ago but 

do you know how many stories happened before me? 

How many struggles were fight? 

How was everything different 50 years ago? 

That's what this subject is for, to remind you that 

the only one that doesn't make the same mistakes is memory,

that we can not forget the past of our own people, that we should always remember...

Blog 9: Favourite food.

Hi hi classmates !

I don’t think I have a favorite food dish but

what I like to eat the most in life are chips

(or french fried, or French fries if you like american english)

I could eat chips every day because

WHO DOESN’T LIKE CHIPS?

I like them because it is a common factor among all people,

whether you are vegan, vegetarian, carnivorous, omnivore,

 whatever, you can always eat chips!

They are also crispy, have a good smell, are toasted (most of the time)

mmm how much hunger gave me write all that.

You can also add many types of sauce: ketchup, mayonnaise, garlic sauce, mustard…

You can spread chips in all the sauces that you can think of!

A good memory with chips was when I discovered the chips "pre-fried"

It was a new and wonderful world in which,

 from the comfort of my house, I could eat chips

 without having to peel them for my own (very lazy haha), just fry...

And obviously I can't forget the afternoons of study with my sister

where we used the most part of the time to fry and eat chips that we studied together, haha.

Anyway, I've never met someone who doesn't like chips,

if you know someone

I really need to know WHY they do not like them.

Blog 7: A career-related website

Hi everyone.

The website about my career that I like is a facebook profile about memes of social work.

The name of this page is "social work memetologies" and you can find it in this link:

This page was created on January 1st, 2016 and is from Mexico.

They upload daily memes about the study and work of a social worker.

Normally I don’t visit the page a lot, I'm not a big fan

but I see their memes frequently when I start my facebook session,

besides that more people who study social work share memes from that page.

I like the website because they upload memes (and who doesn't like memes?)

and because they have to do with what I study and I will practice in the future.

I feel identified with some memes and with others memes I think

“Will I be like this in the future?”

But I don’t like that the page has so many Mexican references

because I don’t understand them all :(

But other than that, it's still a very good page!

Blog 6: Favourite gender/musician.

Hi classmates.

I don't have a favorite music style,

I listen to several music genres,

from One Direction, Soda Stereo, Santa Feria, Daddy Yankee, etc (I think the point is understood).

But what I have never heard (nor will I listen to) 

is K-Pop or korean/ japanese / Chinese music, I don't know why, but I don't like it.

This is the most current photo of the group and there is a new musician
 (the one that is crouched with adidas jacket)

Now, my favorite band is Ases Falsos, a Chilean band, which according to wikipedia is '' pop rock '' o_o (im not sure). I have liked it since 2017 aprox. (I hated them before).

I like them because they are very dynamic,

They always harmonize new melodies.

They are constantly changing,

In fact, some musicians have left and

new musicians have come to the band.

But what I like most about them is that their music is not for everyone,

Not everyone knows how to enjoy this group;

Also that is quite controversial for his vocalist,

what makes the audience that listens to them even more limited.

But I think this is my favorite song.

(It's hard to choose a song from your favorite band)
